Brief Accutron Watch History

Accutron watch is part of Bulova Corporation. Bulova first introduced Accutron in 1960. Accutron watch is the first electronic watch and promised to keep time to within 1 minute per month. When it was first introduced, Accutron was a watch without springs and escapement, and was operated by an electronically activated tuning fork. In 1976, Accutron quartz movement watches were introduced. Today, all Accutron watches are Swiss Made and comes equipped with highly scratch resistant sapphire crystals.
